Parsnips Crisps Recipe

A Very Simple and Tasty Recipe

These crisps are addictive, delicious and very easy to make. Don’t be shy; make a lot as they will be finished a lot quicker than you think.

Ingredients

600g parsnips
2 teaspoons sunflower oil

Recipe Instructions

Preheat the oven to 160C.

Prepare the parsnips.
Peel the parsnips and discard the skins. Using a swivel blade peeled, peel long strips from the parsnips and place them in a bowl with the sunflower oil. Season them well and toss making sure the strips are well covered in the seasoned oil.

Bake in the oven.
Using 3 baking trays, arrange the parsnip strips in single layers. Put in the oven and bake for 25 – 30 minutes, turning them halfway through. After 30 minutes they should be golden and crisp. Sprinkle them with sea salt while they are still warm and serve immediately.
