Why Parsnip is Good for Pregnant Women


It’s important to eat healthy, but this is especially true for women who are pregnant.  One of the crucial nutrients a pregnant woman must take is folic acid.

Ample folic acid in your diet – about 400 micrograms for the first trimester of pregnancy – should decrease the chances of unborn babies developing defects such as spina bifida, cleft palate and anencephaly by as much as 70 percent.
